Quechee Vermont, nestled along the winding Ottaquechee River, is well known as a quintiscential Vermont village. Both a showcase of New England's natural beauty and a collection of year-round events to enjoy the outdoors, Quechee has plenty to offer anyone who is looking for a memorable weekend getaway or an extended vacation retreat.
We are members of The Quechee Lakes Landowners Association which provides our renters with access to nearly every amenity of Quechee Lakes. (If you have any questions about our rental home or the Quechee area, please contact us for more information).
Quechee features two private, 18-hole championship courses designed by a renowned New England golf course architect, Geoffrey Cornish. Both the Lakeland course, surrounding a serene Vermont lake, and the more challenging Highland courses are kept in immaculate shape at all times ad have earned accolades from both Golf Digest and Vermont Golf magazines.
When visiting Quechee, visit the impressive Quechee Gorge. Born shortly after the ice age, the Quechee Gorge came to life as the Ottaquechee River carved a path through the New England countryside.

- Quechee Inn Restaurant
One of our very favorite dining options in Quechee, and one that consistently receives high reviews in Yahoo's restaurant ratings, is the Parker House. Adam & Alexandra La-Noue Adler are the Innkeepers & Chef/Owners of this lovely Inn & Restaurant overlooking the Ottaquechee River. The inn was formerly home to the owner of the mill which is now Simon Pearce, located right next door.
Adam and Alexandra have coined it perfectly as "French cuisine with a Vermont twist" which makes for memorable dinners with friends or family or even just a quaint place to hang out and enjoy drinks at the bar.
During the summer, be sure to ask Adam if seating is available on the back porch for a great view of the Ottaquechee river. You can make reservations by calling them directly at 802-295-6077.

When in Vermont, be sure to visit the Simon Pearce gallery for wonderful pieces of heavy glassware hand-blown on-site right from the roaring glass furnaces. Simon has since expanded and built another shop just outside of Quechee but the original shop, a former linen mill, is still very much worth a visit. Simon has also opened an adjoining restaurant serving great food with a terrific view overlooking the Ottaquechee River and the original damn that now powers the glass furnaces downstairs.
